- There are 6 types of buildings. We probably start with Walls and Towers. Traps, Amps and Pylons have their own skill, so those are probably unlocks from certain fields. Lanterns don't have a skill, however, so I wonder if we will start with those as well or if we will have to find them later despite the lack of skill?
- Skills appear to still have two tiers of effect; one which increases every level and one which increases every N levels. The second-tier effect seems to be only increasing with every 5 skill levels now instead of every 3 levels, though (level 15 Orb of Presence only gives 3 orblets). I wonder if the skill cap is still 45(+15) or if that's been reworked as well?
- Surprisingly, there don't appear to be any skills that have been *removed* outright, other than the 3 colors we don't get back in this chapter. Ignition and Demolition seem to have been rolled into one skill based on Peter's commentary. I wonder how True Colors will work though - surely 4 color gems won't be getting a buff with only 6 colors remaining, and triple gems might get the axe as well as I don't see that there are likely to be many reasons to combine 3 colors at once. (in before someone mentions Prismatics)
The dev said that he is not interested in learning a new language, but the new game will reduce the number of monsters on the screen at once. Hopefully it also reduces the number of beacons. This will reduce lag, but not as well as coding it in C++ or C#.
