That's basically what you should do at this point.

At a later point in the game you can use them to buy Skill Points

That's only after you've used them for anything else though (upgraded all your best in slot fragments etc.), the cost isn't worth it unless you literally have nothing else to do with them.

That's because the cost is for a single point, and it increases from there.

oh damn thats terrible, ive only recently started so im only geting the "initial mana" and " mana form wizard lvl" fragments, the guides are very sparse and dont give much help to anything other than tower building or end game with 100's of level sworh of things.

Save your cores for now. When you get better fragments they get a lot more expensive to upgrade.

since i cannot find much info on the talisman, cna you give me a brief plan for what fragments to get and upgrade at which ponit sin the game?

e.g. early, mid and late game which fragments to aim to get. please

Personally I just focused on wiz lvl to mana and xp and +mana fragments to start off with. Prioritise those two over anything else while you're getting just one or two properties on fragments.

When you get to midgame you should start having a decent idea of what you want to focus on from what you tend to use most, so add those properties to the initial two.

Eventually you want a +all skills fragment in every slot.
