yellow, black with a hint of red for kill
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=434889753
like this:
for kill gem
2 crit gems, 2 white gems/black gem, 1 red and 1 blue
mana gem
2x orange, 2 x white, 1 red and 1 blue
or am i wrong
Ok so like this:
mana farm trap gem
orange, white, blue
mana farm trap amp gem
orange, white, red
kll gem trap gem
yellow, white, blue
kill gem trap amp gem
yellow, white, red
obviously the whites can be changed for black instead...
is this right?, please correct me if im wrong...
This doesn't work. It should be something like this:
slow gem just before mana/kill gem
blue, black, red
mana farm trap gem
orange, black, red
mana farm trap amp gem
orange
kll gem trap gem
yellow, black, red
kill gem trap amp gem
yellow
Replace black with white if necessary but never use both at the same time.
i think its more like this...
****************************
SLOW GEM (placed just before mana/killgem)
slow gem (separate trap gem)
blue, white, red
from IvanYiu247 post
*****************************
MANA FARM
mana trap gem:
orange, white, blue
orange, white, red
(6 combined into 1 gem)
mana trap amp gem:
orange
****************************
KILL GEM
kill gem trap gem:
yellow, white, blue
yellow, white, red
(6 combined into 1 gem)
kill gem trap amp:
yellow
***************************
of course the white can be swapped for a black gem instead if needed.
am i right in saying that the mana gem
and kill gem both have 1 red gem and 1 blue gem?
No, There is a Slow gem and then a Mana/Kill gem. They are 2 different gems. Never combine Blue(Slow) gems into your Mana/Kill gems.
EDIT: A picture speaks more than 1k words. Directly taken from the Extreme End Game Guide, this picture shows what I mean by "Separate Slow and Mana/Kill gem"
https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/532892171300299600/DD9B92A2019F2AD1A03C487B2B0E90260CB91A6B/
You can see that we place a slow gem (blue + red + black) before the mana gem (orange + red + black) or the kill gem (yellow + red + black) so monsters are forced to walk through the slow gem before stepping on the mana/kill gems
EDIT2: Based on your table:
****************************
SLOW GEM (placed just before mana/killgem)
slow gem (separate trap gem)
blue, white, red
*****************************
MANA FARM
mana trap gem:
orange, white, red
mana trap amp gem:
orange
****************************
KILL GEM
kill gem trap gem:
yellow, white, red
kill gem trap amp:
yellow
***************************
I know the slow gem and mana/killgem are both separate.
but from what i remember i thought someone put 1 odd blue gem in
mana gem for some reason, like to strenghten it in terms of overall dmg etc.
i mean because 1 blue gem wouldnt make much difference when combined with 5 other gems
(6 gems combined, some duplicates), like toning a gem, formulation/equation/algorithm wise.
im positive i remember from last year someone combined all 6, including blue gem. i know what it does, i know its used for slowing (slow gem), but im also sure its combined in the
6 gems to make mana/ kill gem.
if however i have simply not remembered the order well enough and i do happen to be mistaken, then obviously theres another gem that im missing that i have forgot to take into account when combining the 6 gems into 1 gem (mana/killgem).
Also I did click on the link for the picture but it wouldnt load up for some reason :/
3rd edit
from what you are saying it should look like this instead:
****************************
SLOW GEM (placed just before mana/killgem)
slow gem (separate trap gem)
blue, white, red
*****************************
MANA FARM
mana trap gem:
orange, white, red
orange, white, red
(all 6 combined into 1 gem)
mana trap amp gem:
orange x 6
****************************
KILL GEM
kill gem trap gem:
yellow, white, red
yellow, white, red
(all 6 combined into 1 gem)
kill gem trap amp:
yellow x6
*************************** [/quote]
ps. I do know what a slow gem is, ive been using it since beginning of the game, lol.
and yes i do place a slow gem trap (with slow gem in it) just before the mana trap/kill gem trap...
again white gems can be changed to black depending on the circumstances/situation..
I know that in a slow trap (placed right before the kill gem/mana trap,it has a blue gem), but im talking about something different here, im talking about the build order/construction of mana gem/kill gem. i thought that algorithm wise putting a blue gem somehow makes a mana gem/kill gem better all round. (you know like how they have big kill gem calculator thingy where they put random gems, some lower lvl, some higher lvl, some the same etc). i dont know what its called, i can only describe it as kill gem calculator as i dont know what its called...
when creatures go over your slow gem (black/red/blue) they get slowed by around 70% and it lasts a long time... long enough to over over your mana or kill gem, and still be crawling slowly after it passes
is this what the kill gem/mana gem looks like when dissected?
please correct me if im wrong
so:
mana gem (trap)
orange, white, red+
orange, white, red
kill gem (trap)
yellow, white, red+
yellow, white, red
the simplified version :)
Mana gem (trap):
orange, white, red x2
(6 gems in total, as shown above, combined)
Kill gem (trap)
yellow, white, red x2
(again 6 in total, combined into 1 gem)
please tell me if this is correct..
i need to know asap so i can start using them...
obviously whites can be swapped for blacks depending on the situation.
