How do i shoot the torpedo

id like to know to i thought putting in battery would do it and nothing

After unlocking it with a battery, you have to also buy a torpedo and put it into the launch tube (and maybe press a button on it afterwards, I forgot if they added that as safety). It'll then destroy the nearest target.
