Reccomendation For solo play
#1 option - Start with a few Hundred to buy gear to defend ourselves FAR easier!
#2 option - AI Diver helpers we can command with hotkeys, help, attack/free me, retrieve items, take items back to ship, man stations, etc..
Also!! I recommend 3 changes to the base game.
#1 start with enough cash for 4 flashlights for all 4 players. Even if you have ot add in weak range flashlights, or add more powerful ones for more cash we can buy later.
#2 change impact issue so instead of lost cash "from animals/krackens" we loose ALL net items, or an upgrade, not our cash. BUT!! KEEP lost cash whenever its an impact with a police boat tho. But gain no more stars.. like we bribed em when they took our cash. Like protection money. As the stars are already brutal in game.
-or at the very last having items in the net gets you 1 buffer attack so you dont loose cash. So it takes net items FIRST. THEN the cash.
# 3 - I would add in badass powerful items we can ONLY get thru the trading of the ducks at the black market. Also... add more "black market" have models doing crap, trades, etc... so it feels like an active space.

Murky Divers is a very good game but the lack of a proper solo mode severely undermines its potential and reach.
Like any new coop game most peeps will have a blast with it for a few days/weeks and move on to the next coop game.
