What to do with waste/trash?

I have been playing all day, and I can grind up the body parts, but trash collected from net or expedition just sits there. What are you supposed to do with it?

The mechanic seems like a 'chance' thing, you go after wastes and experiments hoping its good stuff but only a portion. You only have enough capacity to capture loot like 2.5 times and its full. So remember to clean out the nets at the start of each mission so it doesnt take up space for the next one. If you find body parts in the net, great, if you find trash, better luck next time.

Seek out experiments on your sonar. Run into them with your sub and on the front right side of the ship there is a net indicator that tells you if you're full or not.
