Keep track of possible upgrades you notice, so you know when to push. Quite often reaching a new planet etc will open an upgrade, that will make you stronger.

Don't worry about army upgrades too much, just keep pushing forward. They are helpful, but don't worry about staying on a Black Hole/reset to get the maximum. In the beginning, they will impact the Light years very much, so when you do make armies, try to make those last the limit(3 hours in the beginning)

Try to use the daily code every 20 hours, the Antimatter and potions really help.

You can't really mess up the game, apart from getting bad black hole upgrades with black matter. I think the "Keep your levels when travelling back in time" is the most important one. But other than that, don't worry about it too much and avoid any online guides(apart from the ones that list codes that you can use).

If you're ever bored and up for some short reading, you can always restart the tutorials ingame, I know sometimes myself in the beginning I skipped a lot, but I went back and double-checked when I felt like having a short read and understanding :P

my biggest complaint about this game atleast for me and its usually just a me problem cause i dont use native resolution is some text being very blurry so it just makes reading unpleasant in some games so i just skip it

also can't forget to mention, i love the way this game reminds me of the old classic arcade game "Galaga" that's what rlly drove me into playing this cause it was one of my personal favorite games.

Why wouldn't you use the native resolution?
