Game keeps crashing

It will load and I'll start a level, but about halfway through the level the game will crash and a window pops up only saying "error" with a red X.
Not sure how to fix this or if anyone else is experiencing it.

Same here -- windows 10 laptop, totally up to date. Crashes after about 5 minutes of gameplay. Tried switching to WinXPSP3 compatibility mode but that (as well as Win8 compatibility mode) seems to keep the game from launching entirely.

Just came over to report the same issue. I've noticed it seems to happen every other level. Not sure if its how long I've played or related to levels somehow. Windows 10 here also.

Would edit if I could. Its definitely a time thing. I can't progress now because it kills me halfway through this level. -_-

Hi there,
This may seem idiotic, but its worth a try.
Same thing happened to me with Far Cry and the solution for that worked here as well on Win 10 Laptop. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del for Task Manager. Go to Services and stop 'TabletInputService' before launching the game.

I just got back on the game after a month to see if they fixed it. I contacted Alawar in January about this. They wanted my log (which I sent) and I never heard back from them.

Bummer it is still doing that. I have windows 10 but it is an all in one desktop. If anybody finds a solution, I would love to hear it!

I went back to try and see if it was fixed but I'm on anew computer so I have to start from the begnning :( So far the game does seem to be working though, I'm on Windows 8.

This worked amazingly. Now, I just have to write it down so I can get playing more quickly! Thank you, Tibore85!

For me, on my all in one Dell, Windows 10, I had to right click TabletInputService to hit stop (that may be a no brainer but when I left click it, I expect it to open, which it did not! ).

mine will crash but only when i upgrade my well. iv noticed that if i dont try it upgrade it i will be able to continue playing.

got this game for my wife but it crashes 5 miniutes into the game
