LOL why would you think the game has been abandoned? They just had a update last month.

It's not abandoned, it just takes time to fix some things more so than others.

At least wait 6 - 9 months of zero updates/patches/fixes before trying to claim that the game might be abandoned.

They could at least put out a dev, a notice, anything.. specially that they did only two of those and again they stopped. And if they struggle to find what to focus on, there is plenty on the forums in here. It is worrisome when you get constant info and then just.. nothing? I can wait even 6 months, a year, as long as I know they still do something. At this point we don't really know anything.

How have the missed the opportunity to make Decor such as basic plants, isle markers for both end caps and ceiling, basic deli for sandwiches and breads, or even displays or display cases!!

I would agree but you have to also take into account that these store simulator games are mostly already pre-built engines that you or anyone can literally buy and just swap assets (also you can buy asset packs) and deploy on steam. You can see how successful launches look (TCG) compared to less than successful ones (clothing store or skate shop etc). The good news is most are cheap enough to get your play value out of them for the cost (like this one).

Hopefully not abandoned after all.
