It's not abandoned, it just takes time to fix some things more so than others.
At least wait 6 - 9 months of zero updates/patches/fixes before trying to claim that the game might be abandoned.
I would agree but you have to also take into account that these store simulator games are mostly already pre-built engines that you or anyone can literally buy and just swap assets (also you can buy asset packs) and deploy on steam. You can see how successful launches look (TCG) compared to less than successful ones (clothing store or skate shop etc). The good news is most are cheap enough to get your play value out of them for the cost (like this one).
Hopefully not abandoned after all.
