Ideas I've seen:
*Ability to bring the entire pallet to the floor and break it down there using a floor jack.
*Workers that can use the 8 item push carts.
*Workers that pick up product from the floor and stock from there.
*Ability to have more than one load per truck.
*High capacity storage shelves in the back room that hold more than one box per space.
Of course someone has to work out the programming, and test it all, and work the bugs after it's patched. So get used to doing most of the work by hand.
*My pro tip... I just order pallet after pallet, close the store, and make everyone stock (4 workers). I re-fill the back as we go and after a day or two it's all full again. What a pain. Lol.
And why can't they use the restocking trolley?
And why do they always walk around the shelf in the warehouse to put down a box when they would be standing right in front of it?
And a Scanner for ordering would be great.
