Connections to the 1982 and 2011 movie
Has anyone been able to find any new secrets/easter eggs relating to the prequel and og movie in the remaster?

Only two I'm able to find are the corpse in the infirmary in the 2002 game being replaced with Nauls confirming his fate and the axe on the door in the Norwegian camp, along with the Thule Station name tag on the door.

No one considers the 2011 film as canon and all the references in the game are from the 1982 film

Not true. There were changes made to the Norwegian camp (Thule Station) and there's an achievement called "Colin's fate" when you approach his body at the camp. That Norwegian didn't get a name til the 2011 movie

Here's a few: (Played the Remaster on Xbox & now playing the GOG version)
I was going to purchase it on Steam but went with GOG this time...so sue me.
Steam, GOG, Epic, Xbox, I use them all, I've no blind loyalty to any one platform.

Anyway...;)

I'm a huge fan of the films and original game and these are what stood out. Remember, these are not one-to-one layouts of the filming locations but they're respectable none the less.

Both Outpost 31 and Thule Station have been Expanded with More Outer Buildings and details such as Flags, Signs, Fuel Barrels, Lab Equipment, Lanterns, Debris, etc.

Outpost 31 'Easter Eggs':
1. The Fire Axe Blair used to destroy the radio equipment is on the floor in the Coms
Room.
2. The Ropes that were used to tie up Palmer, Childs & Garry are by the couch in the
Rec Room.
3. The Noose that Blair made while being locked up is in the Tool Shed.
4. Blair's Saucer is far more detailed and closer to the film version.
5. McReady's Chess Computer is laying near the Pilot Shack.
6. The Thiokol/Bulldozer they used to smash-in the base walls is wrecked in the Lab.
7. The Computer Readout telling of '75% probability that one or more are infected by
Intruder Organism' is in the Medical Area.
8. A B/W picture of the Norwegian Team from the original film is lying next to the above '75% Computer Readout' computer.
9. Nauls' Body is now discovered in the Medical Area.
10. Both the U.S. & Norwegian Choppers have their Respective Info on them.
11. The Stairs leading down to the Generator Room are located at the end of the Main Hallway.*

*The Stairs may have been there in the original...not exactly sure.

Thule Station 'Easter Eggs':
1. The Burn Pit filled with corpses where the SplitFace-Thing was recovered is near the Area Between/Around the Thule Station Sign and the Added Arched-Metal Building.
2. Carter's Hat is located nearby the Thule Station Sign in a Stack of Crates.
3. The Fire Axe is wedged in the Lab/Radio Room Door.
4. A Frozen Appendage from the Edvard-Thing can be seen through the Broken Wall just to the left of the axed Lab/Radio Room Door.
5. There are Large Scorch Marks on the floor and walls of the adjoining Medical Area in the Lab/Radio Room in reference to the Fiery Sabotaging of the Blood Test and Charred Thing-Remains.
6. Some B/W Photos of the Opening Crevasse/Dig Site from the film are tacked on the Bulletin Board With The Code Number.
7. Adam's Name is eluded to on one of the Bulletin Board Notes.
8. The Frozen Radioman's Corpse is now closer in likeness to Colin.
9. Stairs Leading Down into a Lower Part of the station can be found on the Opposite Wall of the axed Lab/Radio Room Door.
10. The Alien Spaceship seen through the Scope at the Weather Station is closer to the original film version.

Take your time and investigate every nook and cranny...lot's of cool stuff was added for fans. Maybe you'll find something I've missed so far. Hope this helped.

Peace.

The 2011 film is canon, for better or worse.
