So is it actually good or...?
Or is this people "enjoying" "janky' old game ironically/memetically. Serious question, because it is sometimes hard to say which it is these days. And from what I heard/saw of this game before, I thought the consensus was that it wasn't exactly good.

It's a game for the fans of the movie. It's a legit sequel; even John Carpenter said it is canon. Also, ND touched up the controls to make them feel less janky. Haha

It isnt for the fans of the film.

The film is a masterpiece of psychological body horror, the game was middling.

The Thing 1982 is one of my favorite films of all time and I enjoyed this game quite a lot. Hell, John Carpenter himself is IN the game, both voice and likeness, so it obviously has his approval.

I love The Thing, and I love remasters of old janky games no one talks about but...

I don't actually recall this being a good game even back then :/
