I purchased a disc version from eBay earlier this year (not that my PC has an optical drive installed).
There is a well put together all in one installer package available online for those who believe they have a valid licence for this game.
But don't expect it to be easy to install or run on modern Windows.
In the end I found it far easier to run on Linux via the likes of Wine and Proton and as such its now installed on my Steam Deck - there are some good guides for completing this installation on these systems.
My original ambition was to run it via Winulator on my Android tablet, however despite running reliably and easily the performance just wasn't there to achieve comfortable FPS rates, so Steam Deck instead it was, for those times I have the deck connected to a dock at my desk with a keyboard and mouse ready.
Probably a few of them. Warner Bros owns the studio (Monolith) and their engine (LithTech). Sierra Entertainment was the publisher who is under Microsoft's control now. 20th century games would be involved which is owned by Disney. Doesn't look like Sega has any involvement in either series anymore. So yeah, its a real too many cooks situation.
I remember reading an article discussing how Nightdive tried to get the rights to remaster No One Lives Forever (which was also made by Monolith and on the same engine) but couldn't because of all the red tape. Its a damn shame really. Hopefully one day they work it all out, But its not looking good. I liked No One Lives Forever back in the day but I'd much prefer AVP2 get remastered.
Another one, Tron 2.0.
