Going to need a remaster of Alien vs Predator 2 (2001) from monolith productions please
This looks great, and makes me want to also see this company do AvP2 as well

I'd absolutely kill for that. In fact why not give us remasters of the other older AvP games from Rebellion? A big problem I see here are all the copyright problems. I remember reading somewhere that AvP got never properly re-released anywhere because there are issues with who owns what exact copyright and stuff. And Disney probably does not care at all about 20 year old AvP video games.

The lack of any way to legitimately purchase AVP2 for so long now is one of the great injustices of gaming licences and preservation.
I purchased a disc version from eBay earlier this year (not that my PC has an optical drive installed).

There is a well put together all in one installer package available online for those who believe they have a valid licence for this game.
But don't expect it to be easy to install or run on modern Windows.

In the end I found it far easier to run on Linux via the likes of Wine and Proton and as such its now installed on my Steam Deck - there are some good guides for completing this installation on these systems.
My original ambition was to run it via Winulator on my Android tablet, however despite running reliably and easily the performance just wasn't there to achieve comfortable FPS rates, so Steam Deck instead it was, for those times I have the deck connected to a dock at my desk with a keyboard and mouse ready.

I dunno man, there is something out there called the AvP Easy Installer and it really earned that name because it is absolutely easy to use. But with stuff like this sometimes I just yearn for a proper, actual release. Like, not even a full blown modern Remake/Remaster, just give me a port with high resolutions, high frame rates and some creative and fun Steam achievements and I'm happy. Pretty much what Nightdive did with Star Wars: Dark Forces or this game now apparently.

Just give me better graphics and full modern controller support And I'll be happy. Night dive would make bank if they did that with AVP 1 and 2

I agree with this one. It was a pretty fun game back in the days. I loved the Marine and Alien campaign so much.
How can we submit this idea to them?:bbtgem:
Oooh yes this one is a must.
Who even owns the rights to this anymore? Fox? Sega?

AVP 1 - 3

Probably a few of them. Warner Bros owns the studio (Monolith) and their engine (LithTech). Sierra Entertainment was the publisher who is under Microsoft's control now. 20th century games would be involved which is owned by Disney. Doesn't look like Sega has any involvement in either series anymore. So yeah, its a real too many cooks situation.

I remember reading an article discussing how Nightdive tried to get the rights to remaster No One Lives Forever (which was also made by Monolith and on the same engine) but couldn't because of all the red tape. Its a damn shame really. Hopefully one day they work it all out, But its not looking good. I liked No One Lives Forever back in the day but I'd much prefer AVP2 get remastered.
I don't think "Open Sesame" is going gives us the remaster.

AvP1 and 2 are perfect candidates for the Nightdive makeover.

Another one, Tron 2.0.
