Stuck in Bear's Den

Not sure what I'm not doing right, but I'm stuck in the bears den.

I can bola the bear's face to distract him.

I can get the fox to climb up and go behind the bear, but if I do that, the bear will attack and kill the fox.

If I don't do anything, the bear will attack Nuna.

Please help. I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out.

You should probably play around a bit longer to give yourself a good chance of figuring it out but if you are completely stuck.

If I recall correctly I want to say you use the fox to climb up and over the bear then drop down behind it. The bear will turn and move towards the fox at which point you have the fox wall jump back to the center platform and bola it in teh back of the head. rinse and repeat or something to that effect.

Well this isn't working. I keep hitting the bear with the bola and it just pisses him off until he eats me. And now the center platform is 1/3 its original length. I can't run fox to the other side, because by the time the girl runs down to his it with the bola, fox is dead. I'm playing single-player, so I wonder if this is the issue? What am I missing? I am too frustrated to keep trying.

Thanks. For some reason it's just taking forever for the ice to break, I guess.

This was a tricky part for me as well. You need to use the fox to get behind the bear and draw it's attention. Then quickly wall jump back up to the center platform. While the bear is distracted, use Nuna to hit it with the bola and jump back to safety. Repeat once more until only a small portion of the centre platform is left, Using the fox, distract the bear and then wall jump OVER the bear to where Nuna is. The bear will then break the ice and allow you a way forward.
