Multiple character mechanics

Currently I play with two character simultaneously and it worries me, that some mechanics that are use are not intended. Could developers please clarify following topics?

1. Is multiboxing (playing two instances of the app on the same account on different characters simultaneously) officially allowed?
2. Are there plans to restrict it?
3. Is transferring items between characters using Steam and mail allowed?
4. Are there plans to restrict it?
5. Are there plans to implement account wide item storage?

5. No, not on Steam because that's essentially what Steam Inventory is.

There is no way to refresh Steam inventory window in the game except sending an item to Steam. Maybe make a Refresh button? Steam inventory is always desync when you transfer items between characters.
