I've made it to the forest 3 times now and covered as much distance as I could and haven't found the frog yet? Has anyone else found him? Or is there something I should be looking for?

Look for a large frying pan in the ground on the map. He'll be sitting next to it.

Considering the inconsistency with achievements, shown unlockables and actually unlockable stuff before this update, its quite valid to ask if everything is actually unlockable now.

You have 15 hours in Lort and still having this much trouble? MTX games suit you so you can unlock stuff right away.

ok I found him.

heres a detailed explanation (should've screenshotted)

You will see a big frying pan like others have said.
its not GIANT, but its like 2x the size of your character.
theres also a small camp next to it,
I found it pretty much next to the main "trail" with the speed lanturns.

My advice, stick to the trails, speeding along then youll find it.

maybe as well do a solo run, get to funkwood, then commit fully on finding it.
once you find him, just lose the run or quit.
