Hi everybody,

Please post any technical issues that you may have experienced with the game or the client in this thread, our Support Team will help you solve them.

Your guild emblem doesn't show or keeps getting denied in approval:

Make sure it:
1. Does not contain offensive imaginary.
2. Is readable as a small thumbnail.
3. Your guild name follows our Naming Rules[royalquest.com]

Mouse cursor isn't active or doesn't appear at all:

1. Open Windows Explorer and find the game files at
(steam installation path)\steamapps\common\Royal Quest\
2. Open config.txt with any text editor (notepad, for example)
3. Find a line with hwCursor = true, change it to hwCursor = false

Changing your launcher's region:

1. Go to your Steam Library
2. Right-click on Royal Quest and select 'Properties'
3. Click on 'Set launch options'
4. Add "/US" or "/EU", depending on the desired region

Graphics settings are no longer available:

1. Run Royal Quest's launcher
2. Right-click on the 'Play' button
3. Pick 'run with default graphics settings'

Visuals are upside down, you're experiencing visual glitches:

Submit your dxdiag in a ticket[royalquest.com] by:
1. Pressing 'Windows Key' + 'R';
2. Typing 'DxDiag' and pressing 'Enter';
3. Choosing 'Save All Information' in a file and copy-pasting it to your ticket.

Errors with connection and/or updates

Make sure that your firewall, anti-virus or router do not block peer to peer connections. In almost every case when players are unable to connect it is caused by a blocked torrent protocol. Otherwise, please submit a ticket here[royalquest.com].

The free Open Beta is scheduled for the next week, for now the game is in Early Access stage for everyone who buys DLC, as we're ironing out the last technical problems.

But it is written for everyone to see:

"Play Royal Quest now for free, or empower your hero with our special DLC packs!"

Trying to download the game but every time I try to download client data for the game it lags shuts down my internet and infrequently downloads at a pace from 1500kb to 0kb while continually turning my internet on and off

Just downloaded the game, logged in, made a Pin and chose a server and then straight away I get:

An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.

Please check your firewall/antivirus, as the download is based on peer-to-peer technology and it can be blocked by them.

We're on it, for now, please just re-launch the game and log in as normal.

Ok so i press play and i get an error game has stopped working so what should i do iv reinstalled the game tried rechecking game files idk what to do else and heres the error info

Give it a few seconds, the game checks several things between our servers and a local client before it will appear on your screen. If the problem persists, please submit a ticket to our support team[royalquest.com].

I'm playing Royal Quest on Alienware M14x R2, 8GB RAM, Windows 8.1
Was playing fine yesterday, framerate was smooth with full graphic setting.

But after the recent update, the framerate is really bad (like around 20fps) :(
Turning off the shadow and antialiasing help but i want full graphic setting.

I've checked my Nvidia command centre... it's using my Nvidia 650m card
But it feels like the game is using the Integrated Intel graphic eventhough I already specify it to use my Nvidia card.

Liking the game so far, please help. Thanks
