I got myself a Draggler (not sure about the name in english - it's a rat-shaman with poison ranged attack) from 3rd level of Catacombs under Varlon. I'm not an expert with Hunters, but I think it was a decent pet.

Agreed. Draggler (yes, the same name in the English version) is the best ranged pet to tame, at least until you level for sola or furious flykon.
