no, do i just download from sony vaio website?
yup. and what's your laptop's model? which gpu does it have?
also shut down every application before running the game. antivirus programs, music apps etc.
I've updated the graphics drivers.....
Laptop is a SONY VAIO VGN-NW20EF
GPU: Mobile Intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
Whats your processor and how much RAM do you have?
Cheers :)
I would take a stab in the dark and say your laptop is very dated now. Crazy isnt it, to think you need more powerful hardware to run a game like football manager.
This may help - how many nations are you running in your game? Try and keep it bare minimum so its not running alot of data...
Obviously you have the settings to low right? Other than that im not sure what you can do tbh
here's your answer james =/.
still you should be able to run the match with 2d view but definitely not 3d.
- Reduce your leagues further (only keep your one and maybe 1 more MAX)
- Your resolution is also low? 800 x 600?
If not, your only way to get it running is a new laptop imo.
Whats your budget for a 'cheapest' laptop?
The only other option is i have an old sony vaio which FM15 ran fine on but the laptop broke, can i take the graphics card out of that and put it in my current laptop? Im a novice so would it be that simple?

nope. maybe tech support could do that but it will cost you a lot (as much as a new computer). laptops have physically integrated graphics cards you can't take it out like desktops.
