Is there a cheat/mod/utility to cancel out an opposition's goals? It would be handy when they score some magical goal from the wing that flies straight into the back of the net, etc.
I'd find the game more fun if I could even the odds without having to replay games to find a tactic that works.
Some of the goals I concede are like the oppositon has the talent of Messi, Ronaldo, Bale & co and I have the opposition's talent in my team.
Always always always play another game if you lose.
Also, anyone notice how no matter how low the ratings are for the opposing GK, he always plays as if he's on steroids and blocks every shot when playing against your team? I'll play a Tier 5 team friendly match when I have Falcao, Rooney, and Van Persie and the GK will have an 8.8+ rating against my team and block every shot. I mean, really? You play on a 5th division team and you're blocking every shot from not one but THREE world class strikers every time? You have a 1.5 star rating FFS!!!
I have noticed this in a lot of games, not just this one. This is the most severe case I have came across though.
The AI and match engine in this game are pathetic and probably the worst ive ever seen.
Kongo - LOL. What a lot of rubbish you spout. Were you actually part of the coding team? I guess not. A bucket with no bottom holds more water than your comment.
I won't say this tactic is a savior for any side, but it has worked for me, getting back-to-back promotions with Shrewsbury and winning the world cup with USA.
One thing is for certain, it is a giant killer.

if youre full backs are quality at getting forward i dont know what to suggest though, i'm only doing that because mine are only good for defending if that!
Thus the tactic presented in the post above has Full Backs on Defending duty. They do supplement the midfield, but they generally stay back to stop counter attacks. My M - L/R Winger Supports, take care of closing down from my third/halfway line and all the way into their box.
With 2 strikers and 2 wingers, supplemented by a MC DLP, i have 5 players going forward anyway, no sense in sending up the FB's to make it 7.
What team are you playing ??
I don't have these issues atm but I did had on my "lower league" game..
I'm using that tactic myself and I am smashing through teams with conciderably stronger squads (such as Bayern, Athletico and Chelsea) with little or no problems at all.
I do lose matches now and then, but i generally win most with a clear margin or at least manage a draw. But I've also had 3 seasons to build my squad to fit the tactic, so I have the right players.
Even so, ever since going to that tactic I've had a minimal amount of bizzare and silly things happen. Some we should expect either way, just look at this weekends results.. Man City really blew it, against a much, much weaker opponent.
