Retain possession + short passing / direct passing

When i have one, the Assistant tells me we need the other one... the minute after i change it, it tells me i need the other one.... WHICH ONE IS IT?

I never had listened to my assitants even in the previous FM. They're dumb peasents to me.

Yeah I don't think it's wise to rely on them. Just like for opposition instructions. He will tell you to close down wingers that can cross the ball, but only after they've assisted a goal from a cross haha. Got to make a few decisions yourself and check out opposition stats.

i go with short passing / retain possession, he tells me to go direct passing in game i just completely ignore him, to be honest i ignore everything he says haha :-)

I think we should hire better assistant coach.
This also depends on the qualities he has as assistant coach
His advice throughout the game depends on the progress of the same
Assistant coach on the mentality befitting that he has the same mentality corresponding tactics that you impose upon the team ...
If you use a tactic 4-3-3 with striker extreme mindset you should have or hire an assistant coach who has that mentality to his advice to be more formalized in the field, I think this will change something in the game

I disagree with my assistants most of time. But it's hard and expensive to find better workers.
