How dismantle works in the game?

I give my stuff to the lady and she charges a price for it. I lose the item and money but don't get anything afterwards. Any ideas?

It not 100% I think
Sometime it give you back enchant equipment or rune stone
Just use it at the end game where you get ton of equipment
