People are playing the game though, so don't think it really goes into vaporware :)
Well I'm sorry but the fact you come here saying people IS playing the game, yet you guys still don't release it for all public here on Steam or mobile is really, really, REALLY sad lmao
As for public release: it is on mobile. If you're so impatient, then go get your phone. I'll admit that I'm a bit impatient too, but considering how they have to develop this title for mobile and PC at the same time, it's understandable that they'd have to make two different games that work perfectly and abide by the policies of both Google and Valve. So either go play on mobile, or wait patiently. And drop the entitlement while you're at it.
Btw is not out everywhere on mobile, and yeah, this is Steam, it you are trying to defend a developer telling people to go play on a phone, then you are part of the problem.
Thank you, your comment made me laugh a lot lmao
And that's about it. It's just you being impatient and whiny. And now you're trying to find any serendipitous argument to justify not admitting that you're just wrong.
So if you're so convinced that I'm part of some problem, that the Angry Birds team is doing something wrong by not releasing this game yesterday from now, then go ahead and define that problem. Tell me what it is in small and simple words, where even a brain-dead person like me will have zero room to misunderstand. Take all the time you need to come up with something. I can wait.
We're not in a Global Launch yet, and are currently in "Pre-Launch" in specific countries, you can check for more information on our Socials.
But hey, everyone gets it, there is a delay on the Global Release, fans want to play, but we want to provide an experience that is up to standard. Delaying a game is never fun, but we do this for a reason.
You'll get improved content and plenty of new stuff to dive into.
If you'd like to ask more questions or find out more, I'd highly recommend to join our Discord!
It feels like in today's age of video games, people don't seem to get that it takes time. Even with a full team working on a project full-time, it can take a long time. It's not like a team can just say, "Day 1: we write the story. Day 2: make models. Day 3: gameplay. Day 4: ship it." Even Roblox games aren't built in a day.
And this goes doubly for games going multi-platform. Being a part of Omega Strikers' community will have you learn that there are hoops to jump through all at the same time. It's not like Sega is in charge of everything just because it's their game. If your game is on the Google Play Store, you have to adhere to all of Google's policies. If it's also on Steam, you have to add Valve's policies onto the list. And if this game hits Switch, Xbox, and the PlayStation, then Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony's policies will all be added on. Which means that not every planned feature can be added to every port if just one of those companies says so.
And then there are the new game modes and abilities. Those aren't even in the current pre-launch. Which means someone has to program everything, animate everything, make textures, and test for bugs. All of which takes time too.
So, yeah. It sucks that it's not out sooner. But it's also understandable.
