Why is there no DLC for the game?

Every main game in the series has had DLC. For example, I want Elam as the main game faction

After failure on start Devs release potential Dlc content as free Dynasties Update. Pity that without playable Knossos , Shechem and Habiru but now game is bigger and better. In cancelled season pass there was info about new campaign dlc but we don't have information which new campaign was planned to be a new content after release.

At the moment the product has been abandoned. I hope that the community of players will convince the Developers to release a bugfix, balance changes and playable Knossos, Habiru, Shechem. There is no chance for more, unfortunately. The player base is too small. A bad start killed the chance of this game. At that time the game looked like a mean Saga and not a big title in the series.

My personal theory is, there might be, maybe, a final patch at the CA launcher nuking when that hits, if it hits. But I don't really forsee anything else tbh

p.s. I feel like everyone in this game's player base falls in one of four categories with a lot of overlap:
1. people who want more historical factions (elam, nubia, urartru, the works)
2. people who want israel/hebrews
3. people who want mythos
4. people who have accepted there is no content likely to follow and don't bother hoping for/fantasizing over any

I am in group 1, plus I have the extremely irrational hope for one day an iron age campaign dlc (I wouldn't even mind paying the same for it as the base game, or even more) or sequel with rougly this engine but a larger map that includes the steppes and iran, but I know it is very unlikely. I have also accepted there is no content likely, but I still fantasize and hope

Not enough players, a bad image since release for Pharaoh/Dynasties and more urgent and valuable efforts to do on Warhammer III instead.

Communism fans like you really won't find anything interesting in the game. But I like the game and would like to buy DLC that would make Elam a major faction, increase their territory, etc.

Anyway I dont think that there will be future content for this game, Im of the minority that this is my favorite TW game. I love the bronze age collapse.

My only wish is that we could have the option for the Sea People to be like the original game, just razing everything giving us an apocalyptical feeling.

Check out my mod, the firts part of that is made true ;), territory is vanilla though.
