Civil war exit

Is there anyway to bow gracefully out of a civil war? I have found myself Pharaoh by accident and in the middle of a civil war, which has put me into conflict with what seems like most of Egypt.

Am I able to remove myself from the running or will I have to endure the attacks against me until the civil war ends, and Tauseret inevitably wins?

Nope, I so want an way to 'abdicate', this same thing has happened a few times now to me too. You get the throne thrown to you like an hot potato.

That said, you could do what the AI tends to do, name it your heir and then go feed your King in a suicidal charge. It should then trigger the succession to the poor sod you chose. :)

Yeah, I kinda don't want to lose my best general. Guess I'm going to try and win this thing

Well I return, victorious as Pharaoh. Through cunning, bravery and questionable decisions by the AI I was able to see off my rivals, by about 3 legitimacy.
