F2P and What It Means.
Free to play meaning.. quite obviously, the privelage to play that particular game for free. Being that this game is in the Alpha stages and Early Access, like all other games in this current state, the cost is to assist in developing the game and to support the people making it. Some of you clearly are not aware of this. As long as it remains in the Alpha stages and quite possibly Early Access, it will cost something. The game is still considered F2P. You pay to own the game, but you play for free. Understand? Good. Any questions?

It's people like you that are what's wrong with gaming; People who want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

"The game is still considered F2P. You pay to own the game, but you play for free"

If a game is not free to buy but does not have a subscription it is F2P?
So basically 99% of the games on Steam are actually F2P by your logic.

Indeed. The game had not officially "released" yet. Its open to those that are willing to play and help point out bugs and such during the alpha stages.

Totally correct. Misunderstandings is what is ruining the images of games. I for one support early access as a means of early "Funding" for video game developers.

Flops happen, you can only hope that yours is a winner. The dev is tied to Planetside and Planetside 2. Quite Possibly Landmark as well. So i am hoping this could be the gem in the rough.

This game is considered an MMO. Other games with this same concept, that are MMOs, are considered F2P. Guild Wars 2, for example.

So youre actually saying that CSGO and every other game on Steam is basically F2P, since I pay to own the game, but I play for free? ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I already went over this. CSGO is not an MMO. If it is labeled as an MMO and runs this same concept, such as Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2, its considered F2P. CSGO is a FPS, of course, not MMO.
