Im still stuck trying to understand this. Its not like you and your brother can play games on the same computer at the same time. You could have just logged him out of steam and logged yourself in. Everyone knows this is possible with Steam. This leads me to believe you decided to hook up on Sandboxie so that you couldn't be tracked (completely stupid idea, as the cheat tracking is done on the server, and your client side prevention methods are all for naught).

The real question is. why did you feel you had to hide inside Sandboxie to play H1Z1.
RoboCat 23/fev./2015 às 14:54
Yeah, if sandboxie is against rules and worth banning I guess I deserve it then.

I did play legit though without anything added to the client. Nor did I have ever any intent of hiding anything by sandoboxing, it was just required to run 2 steam accounts at the same time.

If it makes you feel any better I now accept my ban and try to remember to not use sandbox for games in the future.

What Why? 2 steam accounts at the same time on the same pc? How? WASD and Arow keys?
Why would you ever need to run 2 steam accounts at the same time, just logout and log back on....:dsham:

And i just have very bad luck with that nobodys gonna belive me that i have not cheated by using sandboxie im using it for completly different way because me and my brother play on 1 Beast computer with 2x monitor 2x mouse 2x keyboard and we found steam cannot be runned same time on different accounts on same compuer so we did research and we found sandboxie. it worked perfectly on all games until H1z1 R.I.P
Guaranteed, the exact same result if you try running PS2 with it. Perhaps taking turns might be the way to go until you get another comp somewhere. Without an exact location and proper computer tied to the game when it's running, SOE's going to assume you're up to no good - which they should! This isn't SOE's fault. Contact them, tell them the situation BY PHONE and they may very well reinstate you.

No, we use softXpand. We have 2 monitor, mouse and keyboard. It's 2 windows users and we don't see each others programs, but some programs like steam won't start if there's one already running by the other user, so you have to hide one steam from the other steam client by using sandbox, only then you can both play steam games.

It's pretty powerful computer and we've been playing Planetside 2, CS:GO, League of legends without any issues for the past year, but now h1z1 gave us that suspension for it.

There is NO mention of two monitors in the OP. I did read.

Probably should have explained that in your OP, I think people would have treated you a lot nicer if you had explained why you were using Sandboxie to begin with.

If you are being truthful here, send message to Daybreak explaining the situation and if there is any way to achieve what you are doing without getting flagged by the anti-cheat. If you really were banned simply because the client was refused access to your system they will probably lift the ban once you explain the situation

Maybe SOE( or what ever its called now) should be clear on such programs.

ie: im on a Linux os and install win 7 on virtual box/machine to play windows/steam games.

Can I get banned.
Hello there

FYI, there's lots of software out there that allows 2 or more users to use one machine.

In the early dayz of computing it was the norm in many cases.

Then sandboxie did not get me banned on h1z1? it maybe the reason that i jumped over someones walls when he had put furnace next to wall and looted and jump back using another furnace
No idea, unless you built that second furnace, and were sighted by a dev playing. You're not allowed to alter someone's base, it's considered griefing other players and can be bannable. The one outside should be legit, it's done often. How did you get into that person's actual structure...their house? It would have had a door. Did you log in and out to do it?

You aren't allowed to alter another players base and it's bannable? Source? Sounds like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me, doesn't make sense that you wouldn't be allowed to build wherever you want to.

Running in a Virtual Machine is different to running in a sandbox. The VM will have an entire OS and everything that goes with it inside. Completely exclusive to itself. Sandboxie uses 1 OS and splits it basically into 2 desktops, where one is not allowed to touch the other.

You will not get banned for running in a VM.

Bullcrap. You cannot greif another players base by building things infront of doors etc to prevent access to them. But using items in a non cheating fashion to break into a person's base is part of the game

Griefing other players by changing thier base, EVEN IF IT IS THROUGH LEGAL MEANS, is bannable. Your actions may not prevent others from access to or from their base, public buildings, etc....if you think I'm kidding, be my guest, get a dev to watch and try building a structure at the door of the police station on a PVE server. You'll be the next one on here crying. You are not permitted to purposefully deprive players of parts of the game, or their rewards - i.e. access to a base they built...it's certainly bannable. It's catamount to their stance on duping...No, you're not using a hack, but simply an exploit the designers themselves had yet to solve. But guess what, it's bannable. SOE has very little tolerance (when compared to many devs) when it comes to screwing other players in their games. It's always been that way.

Banning for Sandboxie? That's pretty ridiculous. Appeal the ban and explain the technical reasons.

Again, link source or you're just spewing ♥♥♥♥. I've never seen or heard anything like that in this game or heard a single dev mention it.
But why tell us? Even if everybody here buys your story, we can not do a damn thing to help you. Nothing. Zip. Nadda. Ziltch. Take your complaint, grievance or story to Steam or Sony. If you feel compelled to share, do it on Reddit, they seem to love the drama threads or Hot Topic Threads.

Innocent or Guilty, we cant say or do anything to help you. What I can say is, with a definate facr, 7 of every 10 people who read this will think you somehow cheated or just dont care.

What do I think? I dont care, take it up with Sony & lock this thread. We can not assist you.
