H1z1 inspired by series or vice versa?

I am watching a series on netflix called "z nation" and it's obviously about a zombie apocalypse. In episode 12 of season 2, when a doctor that had created a so called cure for the virus came to his queen because they were in Mexico and yeah, they had a queen for some reason, and when he went to tell her about it, he said the new cure for the virus was called the h1z1 cure or what not. Hmm. Just an interesting note about that.
