its disheartening to see a game in your Steam library that no longer brings you joy. But hey I've got some awesome suggestions

I'd highly recommend checking out DayZ. It's a game that Community hosted servers called "rearmed," which are fantastic for creating intense clan-versus-clan or group-versus-group battles. You'll have a blast teaming up with your friend/s and taking on rival groups

There's an upcoming game called "Dead Matter" that has been in the works since 2018. The wait is almost over as it's set to release into Early Access very soon, possibly in August! This game has me excited

Some open world games like H1Z1 should have stayed PVE. Too many games end up with PVP status and it takes the fun out of it being open world survival to be plain old boring…. Just like DayZ, you spawn in game with nothing and you end up getting killed by a player that obviously has way more experiment and gear just cause you got spotted. Alot of games die early when you mix PVP into PVE

hate to tell you but this was no classic and dayz has been around a lot longer and is a better game all around than JS ever was. this game was nothing but quick gear and PVP unlike dayz that makes you work for what you have and nothing comes easy. so this game felt like nothing but an arcade type shooter unlike dayz that hold all of the elements of a great zombie survival experience. i have played both for plenty of hours and hands down dayz wins against JS.

As a Dead Matter backer with alpha access I can safely say, that game is an even bigger scam than The Day Before and will NEVER see the light of day. There's not even been an update since Aug 2022 and that update made the game unplayable for most people with single digit FPS so trying to say its coming out this month is laughable....
