U are right, but now at least we can look back at ourselves for giving it everything we could to get this trough, we climbed the whole ladder ( which took some effort ) to get to this point.
I am not too pretty to acknowledge that u were right, but i just can't take forum posts for granted, did u spoke to the Vice President of DBG or a conversation with their legal team / CEO ?
U got info from somewhere in between just like us, some DBG people where higher then others so we received misinformation regularly but before we communicated with the very top we got ( not from a "GM" ) guidelines that we could.
We wanted to be absolutely sure and that's why we pushed so far and also a bit thanks to U.
But in life u need to try things, you simply miss every shot you don’t take.
I guess the main reason would be that DBG is relaunching JS themselves, it would be silly to have 2 lookalike games on the market.
We got poked by 2 people claiming to work at DBG which told us they plan a relaunch within 2 years, this would clarify their position on JS remakes.
Apart from that i think they can't ignore a possible playerbase of +10k ( in our DC almost 4000 alone, they noticed that ), that are things u dont ignore as a business, so yes i think they relaunch too.
At least we did something good, we woke up DBG's attention and made them notice there is still potential ( legal team was already investing us before we contacted them ), it means they "cared" , we can only hope for the JS community they take action those 2 people are telling te truth.
We have rest in our minds again now and we still have our remake ( for ourselves ) but we don't work on it anymore or release it to other people and that was actually the whole point, we liked to share it.
My apologies to everyone for this situation.

Well since you visit them mate then you can let them know their web site is not safe if ya want to. I got this warning from Firefox.
(Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to z1ex.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.
What can you do about it?
The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.)
Word of advice and a friendly warning mate. Unless you can find a public letter on the web site of Daybreak endorsing this project like what they did with EverQuest's Project 1999 then any claims of them having the all clear for this project from Daybreak is pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I've already vetted two projects over the last year that were actually further along in development already making the same exact claims and both of them were shady as a ♥♥♥♥ and doing stupid things like subscribe to our Twitch channel for VIP access now. That's just one example of crap they were trying to pull and morons flocked to them paying them money for it. The guy pulled the plug and took their money and ran. Even I seen that coming a mile away.
Legit emulator teams will not have security warnings from Firefox so that's already a red flag. You also really should post the Discord link in your description. People with common sense will see that warning and hit the X button on the web site right away.
Please be careful and take the proper security precautions. I am not going to say they are shady, but I am going to say they have not been validated by any legit source from the emulator community and they damn sure have not been validated by Daybreak Games.
Take care mate. Good luck and have a blessed day.😎
this game is not on ps4 you are thinking of Z1BR or H1Z1 as it was called or even call it the battle royal half of the original game but it is not JS it has never been on console.
