game wont start help!
so when i go to start h1z1 launchpad opens, and when i click play it will grey out the play button and say that the game is currantly running and after about a minute launchpad closses but h1z1 does not acctually start. this is the second day in a row that i have had this issue, I have validated files both through steam and through the launcher, i have uninstalled and then reinstalled h1z1, nothing has fixed it, i was able to play yesterday afternoon but when i tryed to play today the game would not start. anything you guys can suggest for a solution would be greatly appreciated because with 16 hours of game time i am really loving this game. also i own h1z1kotk and it starts up and runs perfectly everytime.

You can try this... download the Just Survive Test Server and see if you run into the same issue. If you don't... I would recommend uninstalling JS Live Server, make sure all entries are deleted from Windows Registry (use a free Registry Cleaner from Cnet Downloads) and try reinstalling the game. Another thing you can try is to create exemptions for H1Z1 and BattlEye in your Windows Firewall and Antivirus software.

yeah don't run steam games in compatibility mode... especially for those with Win10. Win7 versions can probably get away with it but Win10 compatibility modes suck beyond description.
