IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator

WOULD BE A [ PERFECT ] GAME IF YOU COULD FOLLOW THE SHELL IN REAL TIME and SEE THE DESTRUCTION and the ACTUAL BLAST...Example: you can follow the shells in ''World of warships'', and ''world of tanks''... [ watch some videos on these two games and see what I am talking about...keep up the good work

Cool, but not really what this game is going for, I think. All the information you get is by reconnaissance and mission reports being reported back to artillery, so it'd defeat the purpose if you could just see what you're shooting at.

Yea that would be awsome, and it is somthing many people have asked for.

however as a solo developer, I need to be realistic about what I can achieve. To do all of the 3D modeling of an external environment for everty location on every map and all potential targets and destruction VFX and all of that stuff is way more than I can achieve realistically alone.

Maybe it's something I'll try and do for the next game. I do agree that it would be awesome to see but I need to prioritize where I invest my development time. It is kinda something that would be cool but doesn't really affect the gameplay that much. After playing the game for a few hours and having watched it like four or five times, it probably wouldn't really matter that much anymore and you wouldn't use it too much. Which is why I've invested my time more in the mission design and interactions within the environment and stuff like that, which you experience constantly throughout all of your play time.
Nah the real charm of this game is not actually seeing what it is you're shooting at, like learning what your target was for that first calibration shot.

Exactly this, the fact that you never leave the walker is absolutely essential to the atmosphere of the game. A periscope where you can see lights, flashes, fires and smoke in the distance is about the most that I would like to see.
