Beware of crashing

Random crash just now, I hardly ever crash on games so it seems this game might be broken as well as the older ones

I've been bug free so far on desktop (windows) and steam deck (linux) - currently towards the end of 1-4 but I haven't tried 5-7 yet.

I cannot proceed past the lesson in year 1 where they teach you lumos, I go in the classroom and everytime just crashed the game. I’ve tried changing settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, I am so disappointed

My game crashed in year 4, that's what I did to fix the problem:
1. turned off all the extras (You can reactivate it later)
2. turned on the V-Sync option

I think option number 2 will work alone but if it's not then try also option number 1.
