Achievements in coop?

Hi there,

I've seen that several achievements have ‘Single player only’ in their description. Does this mean that I won't be able to unlock them if I play in coop with someone else? I'm sorry if this sounds like a silly question, I'd see some logic in it if the multiplayer was online, but it's only local here.

No, it's a justified question. Back in the good old X360 times, there usually was a lot of excitement and anger, when playing LEGO games with two profiles - and only one of them, the "main" player that owned the save game got most of the achievements. That's the reason they started adding that "single player only" hint. As in STEAM it's only possible to play with one profile, this should not be an issue at all. However the achievement description was properly taken over from the consoles.

I see! They probably should have changed that for the remaster as it can be confusing for some players, myself included. Anyway, thank you for this precise answer.

Yeah, except there is still the bug where achievements don't seem to unlock unless player 1 completes the action. For example the Solid Snape Achievement, hide in a barrel with Snape. Doesn't pop if you do it with player 2, pops immediately when you do it with player 1 etc....

The dark wizards achievement, unlocking all versions of voldemort is bugged because my partner bought one of them as player 2..... Not keen on playing through again just to unlock it....
