So which of these games is best for ONLINE?
Blaze blue or Guilty Gear?

Are any of them good on the PC? how bad is the netcode? how active is the online?

Or better off waiting for Street Fighter 5?

BlazBlue.
BB port is better. Online community is very small but you always can find room or two.

So i should buy this blaze blue CSE?

The netcode is better int this than GG?

Do I buy this exact one or the old one with GFWL? which one are you speaking off?

also what of the new ones they are testing from PS4 to bring to PC? should I wait for that?

As I said port is pretty good but community is small. You decide.

Netcode is far better than in GG.

You need to buy this one, it's the latest version of BB on PC.

Don't expect CPE which is currently on consoles and arcades only to hit PC any soon.

@KING HADU

Yes.

They both playable - differs from player to player.

You only should buy CT if you dont like how short abridged story mode from there in CSE. He talks about this one - why would he talking about other version in BB CSE hub?

Also no not gonna happen (at least for a few years) - wait for psx4 to play them Kappa. You should. Totaly =)

haha

well yeah listen may I ask how would you compare the netcode in this game to say skullgirls? I heard that game is most legendary for netcode.

Also how do you compare the netcode in this with say USF4? in USF4 I can play against a man in the middle east with a dial up internet made from sand and somehow the thing never lags. I dunno what kind of blackmagic netcode is that.

I also have Mortal Kombat X and Injustice gods among us for PC and the netcode STINKS!!!
Disconnects always, horrible input lag atleast 1 second before it responds, major major desync.

I dunno I really wanted to buy either CT or GG since both look the same I just was not sure about this game because when i asked about GG on that forum those people told me NEVER buy it as it has horrible netcode and the online is DEAD. But I dunno how that is true if both games made by the same people?

So you guys are saying that this game I can find a player at anytime?

What if a US Player plays against a European Player? will it lag? because I am from the Caribbean and I can play against US and Europe just fine in Ultra Street Fighter 4 without any lag at all. So this is what I want to know from you guys.

Skullgirls netcode is far superior, since it uses GGPO.

Netcode in USF4 is pretty much equal to BB imo.

GG online is dead because of bad netcode and all around meh port, even though game itself is one of the best fighting games ever.

As I said before, there are some amount of people who are constantly playing online, and many of them are not even picky about delay. But, if you are new to series you might have a trouble finding people who you actually can beat haha.

There definetly will be delay, but still playable.

As people already said, CSE has far better netcode than AC+R and it's really sad that one of the best ASW game has bad netcode. Hope one day there will be unofficial patch to fix this problem on PC or maybe they'll implement GGPO one day, who know. This game will be very active with better netcode, likely more people will buy it.

SG netcode is GGPO, ASW though only uses delay based netcode, so, it's obvious which is better. SG netcode is one of the best only because GGPO. It's fair to compare CSE to others fighting games with delay based netcode and PerfectScarlet is correct, so, if you do like SFIV netcode which is again delay based, don't worry about CSE netcode.

Also, BB and GG aren't the same. Basicaly BB games are slower and more casual while GG games faster and while beginner friendly, GG games are also pretty complex (that's why they made BB franchise first of all) and of course, styles are pretty different.

Can't say that you have to avoid AC+R like a plague though (not even sure if they said that you should never buy the game). There is match finder thread which has a lot of players from USA and Europe (it's very recommended to play with people near you, yes, sadly). Some people are also waiting for a sale, so, if you don't want to bother with the match finder thread, just wait for a sale. By the way, if you do like offline content as well, both CSE and AC+R have enough offline content.

The port itself isn't meh, PC version is better than any console version in fact. Netcode on PC even a bit better than on consoles as well after last update (I can call it mediocre at best on PC, but on consoles it's worse). Netcode is bad not because bad porting, it's bad in every console version, that's why the game is basically dead on every platform.

^ thanks dude well I am no good at fighting games sadly and too fast isn't my thing so maybe BB is best for me.

BTW i ordered a used PS3 I got cheap, Do you think there is a better Blaze Blue game I could end up buying on the PS3 instead? I see it has the newest one for PS3 and PS4. But dunno how popular the online on the PS3 would even be and its also $40 its a no no for me

because I want Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 first and its $45 so either I buy this BB on sale on steam or wait a year again for the newest BB to get cheaper for the PS3

though I am curious I wonder how the online playerbase on PS3 would be like compared to PC for these BB games and also netcode hmmmm

PS3 has the latest BB game, Chronophantasma Extend. It shares multiplayer with PS4 version so you won't have any troubles with finding opponents. Netcode in CPE is pretty good. Just don't skip intros

WTF you serious? Chrono Extended is Cross Platform Multi Player with PS3 and PS4? my goodness. hmmmm

This has me wondering if Injustice gods among us also has cross platform multi player between PS3 and PS4 aswell

Last time I checked there was no cross-play between PS3 and PS4 in Injustice.

Ooh yeah NRS is a lazy incompetent bunch. So i guess no surprise here, to be BB on PS3 would be a much better investment than PC since it has cross platform play with PS4 online.

I see BB on steam has 40 players online most times, how much would you all assume the PS3/4 online is compared to this? 200? 800?

Considering that majority of them will be Japanese the fact that there's a lot of players might backfire at you with delay based net code. Joining some groups to find players nearby will be most likely required.

^ thanks Yeah I just realized that aswell.

I will buy the Blaze Blue here on PC instead. I canceled my order on my PS3, I think its too much money being wasted just to play Marvel vs Capcom 3 online of which I heard is a epic failure with lag and FPS drops on PS3.

So i am using the money to build myself a new PC instead and just buy Blaze Blue and well next year SF5 and Killer Instinct for PC

What you guys think about my new plan?
King Hadu 17 AGO 2015 a las 11:47 a. m.
OOh I also use a PS4 controller for my PC, if that matters, does it work with this game on PC?
