Why does this game run so slow?
I have an intel i7 16gb of ram and a GTX 970 yet this game is unplayable :georgio:

Have You tried turning anti-aliasing off? If this doesn't help, make changes with other graphic settings and the FPS should rise to the enjoyable level.

I tried turning everything off and changing to windowed, it still ran at 33fps, even the menu lagged

I've been searching older threads and maybe this will help: disable V-sync in gpu control panel for this game. If this doesn't help then add CSE in program settings and mess with the options there. :v

Thanks yo, but still getting the same result
I think they did a remarkably crappy job on this PC conversion. They didn't even bother programming a fixed frame rate, so the game is nearly unplayable on any machine. I'm so frustrated that I cannot play it because of the sluggish speed of many stages while on the other hand CT played smoothly all the time...

Idk but for me it started working when i set it to arcade settings
When it happens to me, I just restart my system and it works fine (well, fine-ish, my hardware is a little old and isn't that powerful, I can get just a little under 60 FPS when fixed).

The problem is that restarting is only a temporary fix, so you'll eventually have to restart again when the problem reappears.

Also I'm stuck at 1080p[Arcade Version] (or w/e it actually is)

The game is going between 59 and 56fps for no reason for me. I'm on training mode stage too

Wait, I haven't replied here yet?

If you're on a laptop that has a dedicated GPU, make sure the game is running on it instead of on the IGP (the latter usually being Intel HD Graphics). You can usually check that through your GPU's control panel. If you don't have a choice then try disabling bloom, anti-aliasing, and v-sync to boost performance.

The framerate lock is another problem, and usually just rebooting your computer fixes it. However, someone found a solution for BBCT that might also be applied to BBCSE. Basically, you have to add an exception to Windows's Data Execution Prevention (Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Advanced settings -> Performance -> Data Execution Prevention -> Activate except for the following).

Hope this helps!
