Trouble with earth mission 2

Hello,

The second earth mission.

I can send the ship to mine the asteroid, destroy the two attacking fighters, and claim the found fighters.

There are like 2 or 3 messages about rogue traders. I cant identify them except by mousing over every trader with a fighter selected until i find one I can attack. Each game i can only find one, get him to surrender, then not find another rogue trader at all. are they colored differently? eventually i get a message saying the agent has given me the slip and i lose.

what am i missing here? once i tried using ctrl to do an attack, but then it became default that i could attack all of the traders.

They have a small flashing red line around them, right click and change tactics to engines and after you disable the first trader the other two should highlight.

I'm having the same issue. The first one highlights but isn't attackable, the second highlights and I can attack it. Obvious bug. Any way to get around this?
UPDATE- Using CNTRL to be able to target the ships set on attack engines seems to do the trick so far, but now the stupid extra ships just dissapear when i go to get them. Seriously, if you are going to sell a game on Steam, can you make it so it works??
