Help with star animals

On scenario 2 or 3, you need to make "star animals". All is well and dandy getting the theater and training the animals, but after that, the animals return to their pens and I see no option anywhere to send the animals to the theater and have them put on a show, resulting in a scenario loss.

Unfortunately this game sucks at explaining things. I already had to figure out the extremely obscure "visitor awareness" on my own after they gave no explanation and expected me to just know what that meant... (pro tip: turn advertising on your zoo and animals to max)

So I turn to this extremely tiny, neglected forum for assistance. Please help me find the "send to animal theater" and/or "put on animal show" button.

P.S. I think I was able to put the animals in the animal theater after their training was completed, but there wasn't a "start animal show" button, or anything like that, and it didn't seem like the shows just started automatically.

Yes, I got so irritated about the lack of info on this game that I wrote my own rant of a guide about it.

In any case, here's the answer I wrote from that guide:

Advertise an animal (put as much money into it as you can), sell plushies of them in gift shops (make sure to hit "apply to all"), and, more importantly, train them to give shows. All you have to do is put them in the animal theater and leave them there. They give shows whenever people walk in. Don't take them out, ever, or you'll have to re-train them from scratch.

Make sure the animal theater is in a good spot if no one is attending the shows.
