Game won't run

Hey, so I bought this game back in june and it wont even open for me on my windows 8 computer. I have tried running it in compatibility mode, however it just changes the resolution for a few seconds and crashes. I was hoping the new update would solve this but so far, no luck. Anyone else having this problem?

I am too, but i am not that great with computers, so i have NO IDEA how to fix it :(

I have tried running it in compatibility in every OS since 95 and I get the same response

Only way to run it was by using english as language.

if you have a second screen, disconnected it. it worked for me. and disable the compatibility or there will be lag. sorry for my english I am french.

same all we have is two computers in the house the double screen one it works,

I don't have any problem this game and its worked for me without Steam.

I bought this for my daughter (for her account, which is why I don't appear to own it) and I could not get it to work on her computer for the life of me. It plays all the other putt putt games and other low-fi games (terraria, minecraft etc). I had the same issue described above where it starts to load, blanks the screen for a split-second, then disappears. It did work on my computer however :(

This game uses a different engine than the other Putt-Putt games, and is basically unchanged from it's original release circa 2003 (the others are reverse engineered through the ScummVM program). Form response I've seen on this forum, it's kind of a crapshoot getting it running on modern systems. The only thing I know to suggest, aside from compatibility settings, is to make sure you're running the game as an administrator.

For people who cant get the game running just edit "PuttPuttPBS.cfg" file..
The path is not right just correct them to where you installed the game

the file can be find in the map where you installed the game
