There shouldn't be any issues. The ScummVM program this release uses should work fine with Win 8.

There is issues my mouse goes insane when i go into the game and my screen is larger.

Yeah, that seems to happen for some people. Try pressing "Alt+Enter" a few times, that should fix it.

Putt-Putt Enters the Race won't work Standalone. You need ScummVM to play it on Newer PCs.
