Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon

How do you properly exit and save a game?
I don't how to do that

you don't. I think properly exiting is either ALT + Q (or control Q) or ESC or something like that. But there is no saving. It's meant for a playthrough for a kid under 8 years of age

Save: "S" , Load "L", Exit "F5" and then Exit in the menu

You know what you said just doesn't make sense. Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is not a short game and has many screens and elements to explore and I can hardly imagine finishing this game in one sit, especially for a kid. Regardless save/load functionality is older than Internet so it would be very strange if Humongous Entertainment wouldn't include it in 1995.

Well it's very replayable this way and i've always been taught the game has no save so I guess I was just repeating that

S and L are used to save and load in the original games. I barely ever used them when I played as a kid because the only way to know that you can save/load is if you read the manual or stumble upon it. I don't remember any of the games explaining it in-game.

So as a kid I always beat them in one sitting, if I beat them. However I also put many hours into each game without ever completing them and was content just to start over each time I played it again.
