Shadowgate Classic PC (1999) rerelease

Any chance that the Shadowgate Classic version made in 1999 (for Windows 95/98/ME/XP) could be rereleased (on Steam or GOG)? I still have my copy bought from Infinite Ventures website, and it works great on 64 bit windows 7 (I would assume not much difference on 8?).

It really is a very different game, different puzzles, monsters, and enemies.

I think know what version he is referring to here. It had some similar puzzles to those used in the 2004 remake. I've never been able to find a working version of it either.

Ya, NES one is agreat, and its based on the orignal version.

The Win 95 versoin was also based on original version that Steam sells.

However, WIn 95 version had all new artwork 256 color artwork. So depending on your tastes it looks a tad prettier than the Macventure version.

It's more like this version. Windows 3.1 version of Uninvited....I don't think this version got a win95 compatiblity though, so would be harder to run on modern computers....

There is also phone app version from 2005 I've been looking for too. That's actually has puzzles closer to the new remake (the elemental monsters scattered throughout hte castle, and the changes to layout and puzzles). But I haven't been able to find a rom file for that...
