The crystal puzzle

Hey. At the end of the game, there is a table with lots of crystals in it.

You can find the solution to it by googling, but I couldn't find why the solution is what it is. Can anyone tell me?

The narration and Yorick keep saying how it looks familiar and looks like a map, but the only map I remember is in the library which was just background decoration.

Are you talking about the room that has a huge chasm where after you place the crystals in the table it creates a magic bridge so that you can cross the chasm?

The solution is on the wall behind the throne of the mummified king right before going into the caves. There's a mural on the wall behind him with a "good vs evil" battle, and there's indications as to where to place what colored crystals in specific spots.
