Stop making talentless generated worlds!
For the past few years, I've gone from one disappointment to another with survival games. A few have been okay, but not crazy good. The basis of my disappointments is that all the games lack developers who have the talent to put a good game together; - with a good "GAMEPLAY". And my respect for new developers with new "trailers" without gameplay is at rock bottom. To them I just want to say; - stop making talentless generated worlds with no gameplay.

We players want to see the GAMEPLAY, and don't give a damn about trailers if we don't know the gameplay.

That's my opinion and I actually don't care what other people think about it; - the exception is the developers.

Talent-less? Ok, you go and write a code that seamlessly generates a beautiful landscape with no clipping issues and perfect parallax! Programming design is just as much of a talent as hand designing an entire map. In fact, no industry hand designs every corner of a open world map nowadays and does use some form of quick terrain painting and generation, and simply fills in the detail afterwards. You wanna come out as ignorant, go ahead. But it will not make your point at all.

Also, you started this by complaining about them using generated world technology, then expect the small team to focus on gameplay....Do you not understand how contradictory those 2 expectations are? We get it, you don't understand game development at all. You don't have to scream it from the rooftops for crying out loud.

I totally agree with your response here. Too many times people are very negative towards what others are trying to achieve without giving them a go. I hope they do well with this as it will be closer to natures realism instead of depending on zombies to keep us entertained. Like simply being lost in the real world for example.

Stop playing games in such a lame way.
