Rank gaps or bots?

Im playing ranked in diamond, relatively medium rank but sometimes my teammates play like they have never touched a mouse and keyboard before :D Are there bots in ranked or just boosted players etc?

I got a bad rank due to afk during placement...
And every game so far theres always a guy leaving or afk
I can confirm that when i see some players i really question why they even play.
Maybe i should make a video showing these genius
Overall ranked make no sense to me.
Even if i'm not planning on going competitive i at least expected gold and plat.
The players base that's going down quickly probably impact that.
I made a frag movie for fun and even if the game is new it doesnt seem to attract anybody :(

My mate made a 2nd acc cause he got bored after hitting Punkmaster, ranked up to Dia easily in just 2 days after Acc creation.

I've seen lots of speculation that the reason the matchmaking feels so weird is because it isn't based on skill at all. It's based on retention. Not sure there's any evidence other than that paper that explains how Netease provides that algorithm, and we have no evidence it's in FragPunk, but if you want to better understand what I mean, look at the top negative review for Marvel Rivals right now, another F2P multiplayer game Netease publishes. Someone did the experiments and was able to repeatedly make patterns out of wins and losses.

No struggle to go up but noobs playing and AFKs make it a bad experience.

To answer. Either is possible. It is a free game and new, so many people who dont play fps often may try. Especially without needing another client like valorant needs riot installed.

I have encountered bots in ranked and quickmatch. Hell, sometimes on my own team. Obvious based on their aim and they can not see/hear Zeph when shes invisible.

Because you gain way more than you lose, ranking up is simple with enough playtime.

Diamond in this game is more like silver in any other game. The earlier ranks push you through no matter what basically.

rank has bot lobbies on of this is impressive top rank is a literal time played

bots in rank defeat the purpose this game is beyond bad

wow, literally my experience since the last 3 days. it is crazy. and I lost 1 rank because losing with 4 bots in my team.

Its to easy to rank up is why. Youll see people in masteres that still ask what certain chards do
