Nah the game won't die lmao. CS GO for example has lived for years without aim assist.
lol in a crossplay game where consoles will most likely dominate the player base because CS and Val are already super popular in this space on PC? This has a much better chance of being a CoD / Apex / Marvel Rivals stream heavy game than it does a competitive one. The cards are RNG, you can't build a competitive scene off RNG when you have CS and Val to compete with.
Aim assist is needed to grow the player base. This game is goofy as hell, just let it be fun. Increase movement speed too.

back in days we played unreal tournament WITHOUT aimassist on consoles and we were able to hit everything we wanted.... and this game was a lot more fast paced than modern games.
It is all simply about muscle memory.
People who rely on aimassist are just lazy and want the game to play for them instead of playing themselves.
Edit:or gyro, but most controller users on pc use xinput devices.
Halo literally died because of aim assist and not cheaters. Nice try buddy.
