Are humans competitive by nature? Yes.
Is it possible to make a Player vs Player game NOT competitive? No.
It's completely impossible to make a PvP environment that ISN'T competitive. Any argument, criticism, crying, etc. about such is pointless.
This is objectively false.
Halo 1-3 were developed with the sole purpose of bringing people together in a social sandbox. 2 and 3 especially were predominantly online PvP games.
There are many others that did this as well.
