Test drive new game is a prime example, people want offline mode, what is offline mode? vs the AI. So you sound really silly lol
I think people like you forget the point, its about game presarvation. Most fps games try to be the next big thing, only to die in few years, or sooner. And it wont be playable anymore, because online only. This is why offline bots are important so people who want to play the game, can play it when everyone else moved on with it.
Don't waste your time trying to explain it, let them find out themselves crying about when a game shuts down lol. But thanks for saying the truth and reality :)
Yes its really important, to point this situation out. But on the other hand, its just a battle proven to be losing, when you consider most people who play games dont care about this stuff, and just consume media without questioning a thing. I really like fps games, but its depressing, how barely fps games with offline support are a thing anymore. Unreal Tournament/Quake, still had the best bots and offline support of any fps in my opinion, if you consider how old those games are.
When these PVP games get shut down and the devs don't make the game playable offline and the game shuts down because of all the cheating & other bs, those bots will be a blessing. Might want to keep that in mind.
