Fastfoward/speedup time ... ?

How to fast forward, speed up time, ... >>> ? I dont see the button which to fast forward truck driving on the map. Is it possible to fast forward ?
I don't feel like watching truck slowly move on the map.

Watching your truck move on the map is one of the core mechanics (possibly *the* primary core mechanic), where you manage stress, hunger, thirst, the engine, and random events. If you sped up time, you could have a crew member lose their **** from stress before you could react to a sunrise or moon event. You can upgrade your engine to go faster, start with a faster truck, or get a speed-related trait, but I can't imagine the devs would ever add FF, as that would undermine the driving mechanic.

(to be fair, though, I can see how letting players take risks with fast forward drives could spice things up)

You could also change the files, they are all easily editable, mods are supported. Another option is use an editor to speed the game up noting this could cause unity to make your system pretty unhappy. I cranked it up to 10 times speed and stopped that fairly quickly before system melted.
