Each team/party have their own AP (Action Points, I guess?)
You click on the team you want, press move and select where you wanna go. It shows the AP cost of the turn (Green - able to move, Red - unable), then you either double click on the spot you wanna move to or select the "Move" action.
When you're done moving, you can spend extra AP on stuff like Scouting and such (well, you can do that whenever you want anyways), or use inventory items like food and all that (Inventory items don't cost AP on the map, afaik, only during battles). After that you click the "End Turn" and that's it. Next turn, repeat.
You can just skip turns all you want, there's no restrictions to ending a turn from what I know. You can move with one team, and stay in place with the other, etc.
That's it, I think
